We would like to be able to archive old posts and keep them on the site rather than having to delete them completely. Thank you,

By post, you mean blogs, right? Old posts go at the bottom are not often displayed on the site (depending on the number of posts that you'd like to show). Can you let me know why you need them archived and not deleted? I'd like to understand your use case.
