Networking Option
The fact that Strikingly brings appeal and a unique look to each individual's webpage already brings a competitive edge relative to pages such as LinkedIn. However, if Strikingly were able to provide a choice of a networking option on each person's webpage, I feel it can enhance Strikingly's service offering.
A simple, "I would love to chat with you over coffee, click here if you are in San Francisco (for example, given that individual resides in San Francisco) could be possible on each webpage. The person who's webpage that is, will receive a notification indicating that a viewer would like to request a coffee chat by clicking the button. The individual has the option of accepting or simply ignoring the chat, without the viewer being notified that his/her request has been ignored. To make it more specific, the person's webpage can offer certain industry topics of chat, such as "finance, online advertising, sports analytics, startups, etc." This will give the viewer of the individual's webpage the ability to choose if he/she is genuinely interested in chatting with that person, regardless of his/her qualifications and his/her current industry of work.
This website already has that unique look, why not provide an option to network? This could be more than just a website. If you are scrolling through the individual's webpage, appreciate his/her interests and would like to connect (to learn from one another, for example), why not have that option available?
