I would like to offer free resources to people visiting my site but I cannot collect email addresses under the GDPR without a check box asking if they consent to be added to my mail list. It would be good if this could be added in the future

Though, please note that removing the GDPR checkbox is currently not possible due to the GDPR compliance itself.
