Remove the display of dates from blog posts

I love that you can backdate blog posts (for manual sorting), but it'd be nice to have a global override to disable showing the date of blog posts. That would allow the use of the blog feature as more of a CMS, and the dating of posts wouldn't be an issue w/r/t stale content, etc. I'm using the blog to include content that makes the main strikingly page seem to onerous, but then the dates highlight the age of the content, which in my case, i'll update monthly but would prefer not to have to.

    I agree. I don't use the blog section for blogging but for case studies and I'd like to be able to hide the time & date of a post on my website (like I can the first few lines of the intro). This would make the blog section a lot more flexible and give users the chance to be more creative with its use.

    Hmm. I agree that the removal of the display of dates from blog posts is a feature that I would like, too. I dislike NOT having the option to do so. Pardon me for saying, but I think serious bloggers would also NOT be using something called "Simple Blog" if what you say is true and that they would be using something like Blogger for more 'serious' posting.

    Has this been sorted yet?  I'd love to remove the dates from my blog as I use it show information with dates on, and it then shows a conflicting date on the initial screen?

    FYI We are looking to move our site to another provider in the New Year as its been over a year since it was requested and it does impact our business. While this is a very small request no progress has been made and there are now better options for digital hosting.

    Hi, I'm echoing Andy- currently investigating other options for 2017. Would love to stay with Strikingly though. The official comment from 2015 said this would be investifated. Please provide an update asap, hoping this can be done. Thanks!

    I concur.  Strikingly seems uninterested, and so should I.  Another provider it is.

    Please consider the possibility of retaining the current date function while adding an option to disable it. I'm sure there are more people, including myself, are in need of the date function.
