In The Simple Store, when you are adding a product to your inventory, there is a section Below to add additional pics. Why can't you possibly change that section to a video section so you can add a video to the product page for individual products.
The Product Page has an area up top where you can already add additional photos.
This would allow for product details. ie-company info, product assembly etc.
Lets VOTE on it. Just a thought
