Inactive Section in Sidebar (or publish state / unpublish state)

Currently any section the user creates has to be part of the LIVE site. It would be very valuable for users to be able to drag sections that they are not done with down into the INACTIVE section of the sidebar, so they can later come back and finish,then drag up to the ACTIVE site area. Otherwise, the section they just were brainstorming either has to be LIVE or DELETED. Also, some users may want to drag sections between ACTIVE and INACTIVE depending on a number of variables such as time of month, testing sections and the list goes on. Let me know if you need more details on this.

    This would allow us to hide sections from our page, but retain the ability to make them visible again.

    i have a RSVP section in my website that I do not want to go live until 2 months prior to my wedding. How do I drag this to make it inactive before I publish? I don't see an Inactive section in my sidebar.

    This is the biggest limitation of Strikingly. I'm constantly confronted with the question of either execute a short-term marketing/promo initiative that forces me to delete a section, only to waste time recreating it when the marketing initiative is over OR choose to NOT experiment with certain ideas because I do not want to waste the time recreating from scratch sections I've already created. This has caused us some degree of frustration at least weekly since joining Pro Strikingly 6 months ago. Please address this situation, I love Strikingly, and don't want to have to spend time always looking for alternatives, but this issue is a huge limitation to our business and time. I'm sorry it has taken me so long to express my concerns, but it looks like this was brought to your attention by Chris Hopf in 2013 and Under Review since March 28, 2014. This is disheartening. Perhaps you can provide an update about where this is in development or priority, and/or why it has not been addressed. Thanks so much! Brent P.S. Angela Ognev's comment above does not address this issue at all.

    The "Publish" function is really useful. But it's not as useful as what's being suggested here. Would still love to see ACTIVE and INACTIVE.

    We now have published/live and save/editor states! There are essentially two versions of your site. The changes you make in the editor will not be live until you press publish.
