For multi-page sites, idea is to add a way to show your "Level of completion" on the site e.g. each page of the site is built separately, and as user progresses through the site, each page is "marked as completed" (by the user) and, on the next page, a flash graphic / app shows the "% completion" progress, or "Step 1 complete" element, which updates to show the level of completion each time people go through each page?
Eg. for a 5-page site, after clicking a "Step/Stage Complete" button on page 1, when user gets to page 2 the app/flash graphic appears showing "Progress level: 20%" (or whatever), and when they click "Step/Stage Complete" on page 2, when they get to page 3, it shows "Progress level: 40%". Wording could be different like, "20% complete", for example.
Similar to the way Dropbox have % completion, and also the "To-do" list element in the Strikingly dashboard itself; but this is a slightly more eye-catching flash graphic (which could be animated a tiny bit also?).
One example of an industry where this would work very well: for Fitness websites, where workout 1 is completed on page 1 (which takes, for example, 2 weeks) and then you move onto page 2 / Step 2, which is a different workout to take your fitness up a level... You gain the "Progress level: 20%" on page 2.
(Thinking out loud, it would need to be something positive to keep people going, like a reward system rather than % complete system - to encourage multi-level positive motivation, participation, and continuation through your site. "Google Doodles" springs to mind for some reason).
I know from speaking with the guys here at Strikingly that this can be achieved through a third party app, that you could embed into your site.
This, I feel, would be a great addition to the Strikingly apps toolset or added to the feature set to be built in strikingly!
