After having for the first time to modify a lot a already publish site I´ve realised you don´t have any support for massive changes in publish sites....
The only option to rollback all changes of a publish site is to publish it and ask you to rollback? The wrong site will appear in Internet for minutes... It´s not professional at all.
Let´s say one has created sections, deleted one ones, lots of changes in texts and pictures just to realise after 3 days the current already published version is better. What this person can do?
Modifying a site is a creative task so sometimes we want to throw everything and start from scratch (in this case the publish version).
Cloning is not an option because if you clone when you want to publish you have to unpublish the old one. The site goes down for minutes, you loseose statistics, google analytics info, SEO etc etc.
Either you enhance your cloning features or add the ideas of savepoints to the editor being the publish version the first savepoint.
