It would be good to be able to set different meta-data (site title, site description and keywords) for each page of a multi-page site. Two reasons: (a) google doesn't like duplicated meta data and (b) each page will have a naturally different optimisation requirements (e.g. different relevant keywords and site title)

This is a very important aspect of SEO and enabling Google results to show a Sitemap. Unless Strikingly can suggest a work-around? I'm adding my vote and suggesting that it be a high priority.

Is their No progress on this yet Strikingly? If this is not coming to the multi sites, then I am need to move my sites to someone els. We need this to do good SEO on the sites.

Yes I'm in much the same position WRT to SEO Sitemap results. I've been very patient however I'll soon have to start migrating to another CMS. It does beg the question as to why you have various guides and help on Sitemap submission when in fact it simply doesn't work?

I also need this implementation on multipage is very important to have different metadata on each page so we can optimize for SEO each page on its own.
Looking forward for this feature to be implemented soon.

Dear Strikingly, I'm confused by your release and the latest feedback to my question as to why my multi-page Strikingly website with separate meta descriptions for each page still won't be displayed by Google. The answer I got over the weekend, "However the availability of your sitemap isn't available yet on our end for it to appear on search engines like Google.", clearly states that Strikingly still doesn't properly support sitemaps WRT Google search results. In which case why did you bother enabling meta tags for each page? I'm hoping the confusion can be cleared-up. Thx-Greg

There was a confusion between site maps and site links. Site maps are what you submit to Google Webmaster. Site links are these links here, on the search results page:
The site map you submit (along with the new meta descriptions for every page) does not mean that search engines like Google will automatically show sitelinks. Although submitting the URL and site map to Google Webmaster are the first steps towards getting your sitelinks listed on the search results pages, the main thing is to get traffic to those other pages.
You can achieve this through backlinks, writing blog posts that are optimized for search engines, or finding the right distribution channels to get traffic to your site.
