...transfer ‘sections’ to any template

Of all the sections you have, could you make them accessible via a blank template that users could then choose from any/all Strikingly sections; instead of having to conform to some previously designed template and section choice?

Thank you so much for your feedback and patience. We've just released a major update to our editor. In our new Strikingly 4 editor, every section is standardized and available in each template. The standardization of sections is also what allows you to switch between templates seamlessly, without losing page data. Check out how you can upgrade your sites to Strikingly 4 here: http://support.strikingly.com/knowledgebase/articles/734505-updating-to-strikingly-4 Thank you again for your support :). We're looking forward to hearing your feedback about this new update!

I LOVE the Perspective template, but miss the header bar. I'd love to be able to mix and match different elements of the various templates.

I know that current elements are only available for certain themes to aid in user creation but it's frustrating to see one element available that serves a specific need but not available for the theme that you've been using. The slider theme is a cool feature and I think it should be more universal like some other elements, ie. Contact Us or even just Plain Text.

I've just started using Strikingly and it is fantastic EXCEPT for this issue. Hope they address it.

Yes, yes! That would be grat! Some times it's a bit frustrating, when there is a template that you need, but you can't use it...

Yes, that would be perfect! I love my template, but there are Strinkingly sections for other templates that I'm really interested in. Unfortunately, I can't use those. Which I think is a bit strange. You have made these great sections. So let your (pro) clients use them.. I would be so thankful.

This would be very helpful as another option for users. The pre-designed templates are there for anyone to use and then this could be another option

Also, it would be nice to copy/paste sections you've already customized from one website to another within your own account!

Yes, agreed, we need to have ability to add sections regardless of the design or template. Another issue if that if you had a section in application showcase for example for social media, and you delete it, you can't get it back, not even in the list of possible sections. sucks! we need flexibility!

As users we would all like these things, but it seems like it is also an answer to the problem of losing all content when switching templates. (Where what's really happening is "throw this site away and start a new one in a different template," not changing templates.) If all sections were available in all templates, it seems like the information architecture problem that is blocking real template swapping would go away.

This is a no-brainer. Just because I choose the "App Showcase" template doesn't mean that all the section types are right for my page. I'd like to have the Press section added. And I'd like a super simple basic "Line or paragraph of text". Please make all sections universal across all templates! It would be acceptable to make this a Pro feature only. But honestly, we're paying for Pro, give us more flexibility!

I would like to second this idea. I know it can be difficult as the CSS might not compatible between templates but while trying out Strikingly this is what disagrees with me most, not being able to use the building blocks you like in the template you like. E.g. I would like to use the two-column media + text in the Ivory Portfolio. Or even a three-column one.
