Allow to download a PDF/resume hosted on my site

Add link within text to be able to download a file hosted on Strikingly -- a PDF for example. Maybe... 1. Be able to upload a PDF to Strikingly 2. Have that PDF be at strikingly.com/doc.pdf link or customdomain.com/doc.pdf link 3. Link it to text/image/button on the site

We're excited to let you know that a document file uploader has been built! Now, there's a way for all users to upload common document files and share them with your visitors. Check out the details here: http://blog.strikingly.com/strikingly-updates/strikingly-weekly-updates-01-26-2015/ Thank you all for your patience. We're incredibly luckily to have you with us to help improve Strikingly!

sorry for the bunch of posts. just this last thing. i tried this web2pdf and it sucks for these kind of sites. I got the most horrible extraction ever. each header and background is on a separate page. and so is the text..

and maybe an option to edit our site, like with shortcodes as on wordpress, would make it pretty cool. for example theres a particular button or image or something else I want to add onto my site. so widget maybe .. etc

Definitely! google for some 'linkedin resume extractor' and you'll see a couple great websites that extract your linkedin resume to pdf and make bookmarks in it as well. I tested strinkingly for it's capability of extracting my linkedin profile onto their theme perfectly, but I would love to have the option to have one click resume download from there (like in the extractor) and also (with consent of the user) there should be a removable option on the website to download as pdf for the viewers (such as employers). I see a lot of premium themes out there that offer this. Maybe try out some? themeforest has some. Your site is awesome, just this feature and reduction or rates (preferably a one time cost, equivalent to that of buying a theme maybe, not more) and i'm definitely gonna be your paid member!

This was well over a year ago - are you going to do this or not? And if you are, when exactly?

Thank you for your feedback and patience! Document libraries are on our list, and on the way. For now, please refer to public dropbox, google drive, and other services to help with your downloading needs.
