Circular cut out editing tool for website template & text alternative

I think a good image editing tool would be a circular cut out to fit in the semi circle at the top of my site. Also another alternative would be to type in some text instead as example I could use - The Co-Op

    Pardon my enthusiasm, perhaps cutting out with a square template works just as well, for now. A circular cut out tool might work for creating your own individual social networking buttons.
