Simple Store needs Produce Specific Shipping and State Specific Sales Tax Features

The two features that are desperately needed in Simple Store are:

1) The ability to specify different shipping costs for different products instead of a blanket global shipping cost for all products.

2) The ability to specify sales tax for different USA states and not a blanket tax for all states.  I only need to charge sales tax in California but Simple Store applies it to all purchases.

 

These two features are desperately needed ASAP for our new web store otherwise we'd have to look for another web builder that has these basic eCommerce store features.  Of course we'd prefer to stay with Strikingly long term as we already built a site so we hope these two features can be implemented as soon as possible!

    Hi, David! I'm not sure if it's possible to specify the tax for the different USA states, but we are still open to ideas. The good news is that we are working to have variations on shipping fee (for each product, locations, and weight). Currently, it made its way to our top list but we have to reach the required number of votes to pull the trigger. We previously received a similar request about shipping customization so please go to this post to 'upvote' the idea (you can also post your comments, feedback, and suggestions). I will need to close this one so we can gather the votes in a single thread, fast. Thanks for your cooperation! :)
