Adding alt text to your images/gallery can help search engines rank you. Since search engines can't "read" images, alt text is a label that you add to your image so that search engines can read the image. If you don‘t use alt text, the search engines will not see it.
Tips for Good Alt Text
- Use keywords that the visitors would use or you want search engines to relate to your site.
- Do not use irrelevant keywords or keyword stuffing. They won't help your site's ranking and might actually hurt you.
- Try to use descriptive, specific, and unique phrases.
- The length of the alt text should be less than 125 characters.
Add Alt Text to Individual Images
