Thunderbird Email Setup

Note: Please make sure that you can login to your My Strikingly Email account first before you setup your email with Thunderbird. 

 

Thunderbird is a free email client that you can use to easily manage your emails. If you want to use this with your email, follow these steps:

 

1. Open Thunderbird from your computer.  

 

2. Click File > New > Existing Email Account.

 

3. Fill up the details on the Setup window. 

Your name: This is the name that will appear on all outgoing mail from this account

Email address: The full email address of your account

Password: The password for your email account

 

 

 

4. Thunderbird will then try to lookup common configurations to setup your email. Click "Manual Config".

 

5. Enter the required email settings below:

Incoming Email Settings:

Type: IMAP

Server hostname: mail.b.hostedemail.com

Port: 993

SSL: SSL/TLS

Authentication: Normal Password

Outgoing Email Settings:

Type: SMTP

Server hostname: mail.b.hostedemail.com

Port: 465

SSL: SSL/TLS

Authentication: Normal Password

 

5. Once you are finished, click Re-Test. Thunderbird will test your account settings and account
creation will be complete.
