This guide walks you through the process of hooking up your CrazyDomains domain to your Strikingly site.
You can send this link to your domain registrar support if you need help or If you'd like us to connect your domain for you send us the info here!
Steps 1. Hook Up your domain to you Strikingly site:
(Please note: www.domain.com is an example. You should replace it with your own domain.)
Inside the Strikingly editor, go to Settings > Domains and specify the subdomain you'd like to use for your site, such as "www.mydomain.com" (the name of your domain). Then click "Update".
If you purchased your domain from Strikingly, no need to do the following steps. We'll take care of the rest for you!
Notes: Make sure to type your domain in lowercase to avoid the "Page not found" error when accessing your site.
Step 2. Set up your domain on CrazyDomains:
Open https://www.crazydomains.com.au/ and log in.
From your Dashboard, go to DOMAINS.
1. On the domain page, select the domain that you want to connect to your Strikingly site and check out the DNS Settings panel.
2. Click Add CNAME Record, input www and dns.strikingly.com in the fields provided.
3. Click Add A Record, leave the first box blank or input your naked/root domain and point it to 188.8.131.52 in the box. Don’t forget to hit UPDATE every time to make your settings take effect！
4. That's it! It usually takes a few up to 48 hours for your settings to kick in (depending on your registrar) because the DNS needs to propagate globally.
If you're unable to access it, please clear your browser's cache and history. Alternatively, you can access it using a different browser or device.
